This is a 2-day experience in Sapa, built around Fansipan Summit and Back to Sapa. It is run by Ethnic Community Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Trekking trailhead in Hoang Lien Son National Park

Your adventure begins in Sapa, where your local guide will pick you up and transfer you to the trekking trailhead in Hoang Lien Son National Park. Start trekking through lush mountain forests, gradually gaining altitude as the landscape changes. Along the trail, discover ancient rhododendron trees, high-altitude vegetation, and spectacular mountain scenery

The mountain hut at around 2,800 meters

Continue uphill toward the mountain hut at around 2,800 meters above sea level. After arriving at the camp, settle in and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains. In the evening, your guide will prepare and cook a warm local dinner. Enjoy a simple meal together in the cool mountain air before resting overnight in the mountain shelter, ready for the early summit climb. Meals: Dinner

Wake up early and have breakfast before beginning the final ascent to Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam at 3,143 meters.

Back to Sapa

Trek through rugged high-altitude terrain as you make your way toward the summit. Reaching the top around sunrise is the highlight of the journey, with spectacular mountain views and, on clear days, a breathtaking sea of clouds stretching across the Hoang Lien Son range. After celebrating your achievement and taking time to enjoy the views, begin the descent back to the trailhead. Your private transfer will be waiting to take you back to Sapa, marking the end of your 2-day Fansipan trek.
