Full description
This is a 9-hour experience from Sapa, built around Hau Thao Village. It is run by HELEN, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

The trekking was nice, but not very impressive because in April there is no rice on the fields. Overall nice experience, lots of steps 👌🏻

Had a great trip yesterday. Su was a brilliant guide and was very knowledgeable about the local area and traditions. It was a very wet and misty day but Su made sure the trek was still enjoyable. Was very interesting visiting local villages and learning about the local culture. Would definitely recommend this tour.
This was a great day trip! Hiking through Sa Pa was so much fun Sue was such a great guide and provided so much information and made the day so much fun, Highly recommend, it was great value for money!
The hike itself was perfect (a little tricky and steep in some areas) and our guide for the day was wonderful teaching us loads about Vietnam and their culture in the villages around Sapa. He also handled an emergency (twisted ankle) with professionalism. Lunch was good too. However, the overall organization (logistics before the hike) was quite chaotic with a waiting time of more than 30min at the beginning at a random point to not communicating our dietary restrictions.
no la pude realizar, espere mas de 1 hora en el punto de encuentro, en la primera media hora nadie me atendia el tefefono ni las llamadas, luego me atendieron y me dejeron que estan por pasar a buscarme pero nunca llegaron. A las 8:20 estuve en el lugar de encuentro, 9:30 me fui corriendo en busca de otro tour ya que era mi último dia en sa pa, realmente una pena, una perdida de tiempo para mi y un mal momento. Solo espero que me devuelvan la plata y que sean atentos con los proximos clientes
