Our guide, Jo, made this a very enjoyable trek. Because she has lived in this area all her life, she was able to pass on authentic local knowledge. She kept the trek at a good pace for us, keeping us well informed of our itinerary, i.e. what time we would arrive at each place, when our bags would be dropped off, what time meals would be with our Homestays etc. She was also very friendly and personable. Although we experienced some rainy misty weather, we still had some stunning views and it fined up on the last day. The Homestays were a great standard - better than our expectations and an awes
So, our guide was exceptional. She was fun and kind and knowledgeable, sharing her culture and history and advice. She carefully matched our groups skills and experience hiking with her chosen trails offering us options along the way. We felt well taken care of. Our tour providerNam was professional and helped us through all and every kind of hurdle that met us along the way. Our Homestay hostess was lovely and full of smiles. This part of the tour was fantastic. The trip from Hanoi to Sapa and then on return was less than comfortable in terms of feeling safe. The driver did not communicate wi
From the time we were collected from our hotel in Hanoi this trip was so well planned. Our guide Ai, was so knowledgable and helpful. She guided us, trekking through the Sa Pa villages sharing all her local knowledge that was learned growing up in the region. If anything was too difficult she would adapt it to our abilities and assist us if need be. The home stays were also great. You get to see the real side of visiting a foreign country by amercing yourself into their culture. The hosts are all so accommodating and warm, welcoming you into their homes like family. We helped cook the meal, be
Our guide Ai was very friendly and explained a lot! we loved the hikes and the beautiful landscape! also the homestay was great and the food just amazing!
3 day trip was overcast and misty and the forest trails were impassable but our Guide Ai made up for all of the the weathers shortcomings. The rice terraces hadn't been planted yet so Ai was able to guide our hike through the heart of them. Had it not been for Ai's regional knowledge the trip to the villages may have seemed commercial. Hotel and homestay were great fun (despite the fact that the homestay was unheated). We even had a massage at the Homestay after a long wet day of hiking. It was an overall fantastic adventure.
It was one in a lifetime adventure:) Our local guide Ai was exceptional. As she born in Sapa she really knows every bamboo forest, waterfall, homestay and in general everything. She was flexible to adjust the program continuously to our limits and interest. Thank you a lot! Can only recommend to friends and families.
There was a lot of rain, but my guide May was enthusiastic anyway, and took me through some amazing scenery. If you want to see rice terraces and don't want to spend days getting to them, this is a great tour.
Amazing. Nice transport, amazing walkin tours with Ay off track, and good help from Nam and the Company, when we want to change schedule
Hiking in the rice fields and feeling the way of life if the locals.
The whole pick up process was a little confusing and we never met our guide until the second day. The trek was amazing and the accomodation and food in the trek was really great as well.
Everything was well organized and planned out. I just had a few detailed things that didn't quite go according to my expectation. 1) Bus. For myself and my 2 kids was great. The sleeper bus had double decker bunks, cocoon reclining seats that was very cozy. But if you're over 5'5" and above, you will not fit and will be miserable like my husband. 2) The home stay is very rustic. It's basically a barn/dorm with 20 mattresses on the floor with zero privacy. No drapes, no walls, all out in the open. At night you can hear everyone snore and fart. If you were a single lady traveling, I would be con
