This is a 12-hour experience in Sapa. It is run by Vietnam Northern Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.
Pickup is offered from Cao Bằng and Hanoi; the exact spot and time are agreed with Vietnam Northern Travel once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Private Car, Petro, Toll Fees, Maintainance and Driver-Guide's Expenses. It does not cover Own Expenses such as food, Service Charge + Insurance: 10US$/person/1 day, Tax: 10% of total price and PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE: 10US$/PERSON/DAY, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Vietnam Northern Travel sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Vietnam Northern Travel before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Our private driver An, from Cao Bang to Hanoi was an absolute delight! He was a local from Cao Bang, incredibly knowledgeable and smart. We had the smoothest comfortable ride. The car was very comfy with tailored seating that reclined well, complete with leg support. He had all the amenities in the car, from water to snacks, pillow and medication. He even showed us his talent before the trip. If you book with him, you’ll have to see it for yourself! I highly recommend An! He made our experience truly worthwhile.
Great tours with Quan and Anthony! We spent three days touring beautiful Northern Vietnam. We saw Ban Gioc Waterfalls, toured a cave, stopped in several local villages and stayed overnight at a lovely home stay! The mountains are breathtaking!
