This is a 7-hour experience in Sapa. It is run by ASu Sa Pa Trekking Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Amazing! Our guide was super friendly and informative. Not only did she speak about the villages we were walking through, she pointed out different plants and their traditional uses. The Homestay we stopped at for our meal had a beautiful meal and the food was amazing. She gave us options and let us choose what path we wanted to take at one point, even though we had already had a long day. To end the tour with the red dao bath was the cherry on top. What an amazing experience,! <3
Absolutely amazing scenery and Su's knowledge is incredible! The lunch was the best meal I have had in Vietnam and the bath was the perfect way to end the tour.
very cool and highly recommended experience! we learned a lot about Sapa people, culture and traditions talking with our guide, we walked through rice fields, villages and roads, we were really happy to enjoy an authentic Vietnamese experience. The trekking wasn't hard at all, and after it we enjoyed a pretty unique experience with the Red Dao bath, which was really heartwarming. We highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Sa Pa :)
Wang was a very nice, empathetic guide who answered all our questions. The hike was of moderate difficulty (we are in our 50s). The nature was beautiful. We also visited a fish farm and finished off with a traditional herbal bath.
We had such a well paced trek through Ta Phin Village and our guide so was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the local customs and history. The lunch provided was fantastic and full of the freshest produce straight from the villages we walked through and topping it all off with a Red Dao Herbal bath was the perfect way to end it. Can't recommend this enough, you won't be disappointed!
This was a fantastic experience, we enjoyed trekking through local villages, rice terraces and corn fields. The local lunch was delicious and our guide Go was very friendly. We would highly recommend the experience.
gao explained so many things to us about the local life and culture and we had the chance to ask so many questions wich she always answered. so we had the chance to get a good insight and learned a lot! everything was organised so well, the food was super good, the landscape was beautiful and the bath in the end was very soothing - so all in all a big recommendation.

What a great day! It was a 7 mile trek through a couple of villages. Su was an amazing guide who provided so much information about the area and culture. He ordered us a delicious lunch and brought us to a wonderfully relaxing herbal bath. Would 100% recommend!
It’s a longish trek but made enjoyable with our guide Su. Beautiful countryside and lots of information about the villages and culture. The baths at the end were superb, my two daughters and I really enjoyed the day.
We had such a fun day today with Vang. The hike was easygoing and everything was pased and timed nicely. The herbal bath was also very fun to do. A perfect day if you're looking for an easy hike with good views and some local experiences 😊
