Beim Schnorcheln vor Nusa Penida geht es vor allem um die Riffmantarochen am Manta Point an der Suedkueste der Insel, wo sie das ganze Jahr ueber zu finden sind, fressen und sich im Wellengang am Fuss der Klippen reinigen lassen. Die Boote fahren danach zu ruhigeren Stellen wie Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay und der Wand bei Buyuk fuer Korallen und Fische. Zwischen Juli und Oktober ist Crystal Bay auch der Ort, an den Taucher wegen des ozeanischen Mondfisches, mola mola, kommen, der in den kuehleren Monaten aus tieferem Wasser aufsteigt. Der Manta Point ist der Dunung aus dem Sueden ausgesetzt, und Boote lassen ihn aus, wenn das Meer aufgewuehlt ist, daher haengt ein Tag hier immer vom Wetter ab. Die Ueberfahrt von Sanur dauert dreissig bis fuenfundvierzig Minuten.

was a tour with great expectation but poor execution. Fast boat to island was great. The long boat we went on to manta bay great also. The length of time in the water was way too quick. No effort was made to circle the area in case manta were somewhere else. We arrived told to jump in in less than 5min saw nothing,told to get out and moved to next spot. Was disappointed with this. Next spot saw manta and fish, but again only in water for 5 min. And this was repeated at our last stop. Then the land part started. Views were amazing but only had shot time again at destination. Probably the best value for money we’ve gotten on a tour. Was an amazing experience seeing the manta rays. It’s set up pretty strange as it’s basically multiple tours put together. We had a separate driver and guide for each part. Our first driver Naith was great and the one on Nusa Penida Wirata was also really good. Very scary driving due to the road conditions, but he got us everywhere safely and took loads of great photos of us. Great tour of the south/west of Penida. The snorkelling and views were amazing. Sindhu was a great guide for the hotel transport, he was funny and arrived early to pick us up. The boat crew was great also and took lots of photos.
Our guide Bobby was incredible! He is a natural photographer and went out of his way to take some incredibly memorable videos of us aswell! Other tour groups were jealous and even asked if he could take theirs for them 😂 The snorkelling team were also amazing! We saw 4 manta rays first thing and so many beautiful fish!! Absolutely perfect day and such good vibes from all crew👌

We had such a wonderful trip, seeing both mantas and turtles while snorkeling! Jaya was a great guide, navigating difficult roads and showing us around the island. Would absolutely recommend!!

Excellent experience from start to finish. I would especially like to praise our driver Jhon, who picked us up from the hotel and brought us back, and our guide Mobi. Both were extremely professional, kind, and always smiling, which made the whole day even more enjoyable. We went diving and explored the island of Nusa Penida, and everything was perfectly organized. The team made us feel safe, relaxed, and well taken care of at all times. Highly recommended — all compliments to the team!
