Hacer esnorquel frente a Nusa Penida gira en torno a las mantarrayas de arrecife de Manta Point, en la costa sur de la isla, donde estan presentes todo el ano, alimentandose y siendo limpiadas en el oleaje al pie de los acantilados. Los barcos luego se trasladan a puntos mas tranquilos como Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay y el muro de Buyuk en busca de coral y peces. Entre julio y octubre, Crystal Bay es tambien el lugar al que llegan los buceadores por el pez luna oceanico, mola mola, que sube desde aguas profundas en los meses mas frescos. Manta Point esta expuesto al oleaje del sur y los barcos lo evitan cuando el mar esta agitado, por lo que un dia aqui siempre depende del clima. El cruce desde Sanur dura entre treinta y cuarenta y cinco minutos.

Recogida en el hotel en Nusa Penida. Golden Horizon confirma la hora de recogida y el lugar exacto una vez realizada la reserva. Pande, manu and bambang were so fantastic! The boat was beautiful. Even though we weren’t promised manta rays and turtles we saw both!! When we stopped for lunch they took us to the turtle conservation and we adopted turtles! What a great day overall!! Cannot recommend enough.

A fantastic day in Nusa Penida, with manta rays and a great crew We had a fantastic day and were lucky enough to see several manta rays while snorkelling, definitely one of the highlights of our Bali trip. A special thank you to Putu, Krishna, Rinto and Captain Selim aboard Golden Horizon 4. They were friendly, professional and attentive throughout. We would also especially like to mention Leo, who was incredibly kind and helpful, and Diki, who welcomed us at check-in and again on our return. At the beach club, Parki, Jazz, Alfian and Kade brought lots of energy and helped keep the atmosphere
