El tuk-tuk es el vehiculo adecuado para Ella. Los callejones por encima y por debajo de la ciudad son estrechos, empinados y llenos de curvas cerradas, las distancias son cortas, y estar al aire libre a esta altitud es gran parte del placer de moverse por aqui.

Esta es la version de medio dia y cubre las tres cosas por las que la gente viene. Little Adam's Peak la abre: 45 minutos por un sendero en su mayoria escalonado desde el borde de la ciudad, lo bastante facil para la mayoria de niveles de forma fisica y para niños, con la vista a traves del Ella Gap hacia la llanura sur en la cima. Vaya temprano, el aire es mas claro por la mañana en todos los meses, y hacia las nueve hay cola para la misma foto.

Le sigue el puente de los nueve arcos. Noventa y un metros de viaducto de piedra a veinticuatro metros sobre un desfiladero, construido durante la Primera Guerra Mundial en mamposteria solida porque el acero previsto para el fue requisado para Europa. Los trenes lo cruzan aproximadamente cada dos horas y suelen llegar tarde, por lo que tener un conductor que haya consultado en la estacion esa mañana vale la pena.

Las cascadas de Ravana cierran el dia, y a diferencia de la mayoria de paradas del circuito estandar de Ella, hay una poza en la base donde se puede entrar. El agua esta fria y la corriente es fuerte tras la lluvia, por lo que su conductor decide ese mismo dia si es razonable.
