L'est de Nusa Penida est une journee a part de l'ouest: Diamond Beach, atteinte par des marches taillees dans la falaise en 2018, Atuh Beach juste apres le promontoire, le point de vue des Mille Iles, et les cabanes Rumah Pohon sur la falaise au-dessus. Les routes vers l'est sont plus etroites et plus lentes que vers l'ouest, c'est pourquoi les operateurs vendent un cote par jour; essayer les deux le meme jour represente environ quatre heures de voiture. Diamond Beach a un fort ressac et aucun maitre-nageur, c'est donc une plage pour la photo plutot que pour la baignade.
