La plupart des gens arrivent a Tissamaharama pour une raison, un safari a l'aube a Yala, et repartent le lendemain. Apres les jeeps de Yala, c'est un soulagement considerable.

Un jardin d'epices pres de Wellawaya couvre la cannelle, le poivre, la cardamome et les plantes ayurvediques cultivees dans chaque jardin de village ici.

Diyaluma, la deuxieme plus haute cascade du Sri Lanka a 220 metres, est visible en entier depuis la route pendant la montee, et les cascades de Ravana apparaissent juste en dessous d'Ella.

Vous arrivez a Ella dans l'apres-midi, ce qui laisse le lendemain matin libre pour Little Adam's Peak a l'aube, la bonne maniere de le faire.
