Full description
This is a 2-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Speedboat, Manta Bay and Gamat Bay. It is run by The Angkal, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

It does not cover Lunch, Fast Boat from/to Bali and Personal Expense, so budget for those separately. Infelizmente, o passeio ficou bem abaixo do anunciado. Estava previsto para começar às 14h, mas iniciou às 14h20, com 20 minutos de atraso. No ponto das arraias, o guia nem desceu do barco. Ficamos cerca de 10 minutos nadando sozinhos e não vimos nenhuma. Sabemos que animais em seu habitat natural não podem ter o avistamento garantido, mas esperávamos ao menos acompanhamento e esforço do guia na procura. No segundo ponto, onde procuraríamos tartarugas, ficamos cerca de 15 minutos e novamente não houve orientação ou esforço do guia para encontrá-las. No último ponto, ficamos mais 15 minutos ven
Gostaria de registrar minha insatisfação com o passeio, pois vários itens descritos no pacote não foram cumpridos. Tivemos aproximadamente 1 hora de barco, mas menos de 15 minutos para ver as arraias, e o guia nem desceu do barco. Quando falei que era pouco tempo, ele tentou vender outro passeio para outro dia. No segundo ponto, para ver as tartarugas, ficamos cerca de 15 minutos. O guia entrou na água por pouco tempo e precisei chamá-lo para tirar fotos. No terceiro ponto, onde deveríamos ver os corais, o guia entrou na água alegando que a água fria para tirar as fotos, apesar de eu ter pago
La actividad dura menos de lo que pone en la descripción. El guía fue terrible, no le importaba si veías algo o no. Las cámaras son malísimas al igual que el equipo de snorkel.
Nous avons trouvé cette excursion vraiment très décevante. Elle était censée durer 2 heures, mais au final elle n’a duré qu’environ 1h30. Nous n’avons vu aucune raie manta, seulement quelques poissons. De plus, les photos prises avec la GoPro sont vraiment de très mauvaise qualité, certaines sont même inutilisables. Au vu du prix et de la durée annoncée, nous nous attendions clairement à une bien meilleure expérience. Très décevant et nous ne recommandons pas cette excursion.
Primero, es difícil encontrar la ubicacion del punto de encuentro. El tour es demasiado corto para visitar 3 lugares ya que estas muy poco tiempo. No te asegura ver Manta rayas. El guia ya sabia que no veríamos manta raya; ni siquiera se metió al agua porque sabia que no habrían Manta raya. La mitad del bote ni siquiera salto al agua por la turbulencia de las aguas y lo helado que esta,lo cual no mencionan antes, ya que podrían sugerir usar un traje de agua. Definitivamente no es para principiantes.
Der Guide Führer war nett. Aber wir sind wegen dem Wellen garnicht zu den Mantas gefahren. Haben dann drei Schnrochel Spots gehabt für paar Minuten. Die waren aber alle gleich und ähnlich. Natürlich kann keiner was für die Wetter Bedingungen. Später wurde es auch deutlich ruhiger mit den Wellen aber haben es dann auch nicht noch mal versucht. Schade einfach.
