This is a 8-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Port of Benoa and Nusa Lembongan. It is run by Bali Hai Cruises, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

Very well organised. Lunch on the shore was lovely and visit to the village quite interesting. Snorkelling was in too deep water to enjoy corals or fish. Not really inspiring. The other negative is that throughout the boat ride (~ 2 hours each way) DJ played mostly techno music that was enjoyed by the young staff but not the guests that were mostly families with children. It would have been better without the music.

great day, the pontoon time is only 1 1/2 hrs but to be honest its enough. The food was lovely, plenty of choice. the island time was good and we did the little bus tour round the island as not massive beach people, that was good. only 30 mins but took you to 2 different spots which were well worth it. driver pickup excellent too.
mostly well organised. we did the aquanauts, which we felt the timing of it wasn't as clear but it turned out well. the guide was awesome and we had lots of fun
Super fun day and well run! Picked up straight from our villa and returned, no issues. The snorkelling was average, not much to see, but the other pontoon activities were really good. Highlight was the lunch and time on the island, great day out.
