This is a 3-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Mesari Beach Restaurant, Manta Point and Gamat Bay. It is run by Lembongan Water Sport, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

Great trip, very well organised. Breakfast, tea and juice provided before departing on the tour where we saw Manta Rays, Dolphins and Turtles.

This was an AMAZING tour ! We got to see EVERYTHING - Manta Rays, a Turtle, beautiful colored fish, etc (definitely very lucky to have gotten to do so). Are tour guides were wonderful also and made sure to keep us all safe and together, especially in the choppier waters. I would actually do this tour again, I had so much fun and it was such a cool experience !

Everything about this trip was fantastic. No nonsense introduction and straight into the trip which is such a refreshing experience! As soon as you’re heading out on the boat through the mangroves the guides start giving a good bit of information regarding sea state, what to do when in the water if the current gets up and how to stay safe if you’re not used to snorkelling in choppy waters. First stop is trying to spot the mantas - and for us personally this did NOT disappoint, what a bucket list moment so many spottings and super close encounters - truly magical and a bucket list activity tick

Amazing activity (if the weather is good and you're lucky). We went to 3 points, one of them was Manta Bay, where we saw around 10 mantas (it was very crazy because there were a lot of them at the same time). Totally recomended activity.

It was fantastic! Unfortunately, my daughter got seasick, but luckily she was well looked after and given something for the nausea. After that, she felt better. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling trip! It was a truly amazing experience and definitely highly recommended.
