This is a 4-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Bulih Bali Turtle Conservation and Crystal Bay Beach. It is run by PT Favotrip Bali Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Nusa Penida is the largest of the three islands off Bali's south-east coast, about 200 square kilometres of limestone with cliffs on the south and west and a few villages on the north coast where the boats land. It has no traffic to speak of but its roads are narrow and slow, which is why a day trip covers either the west side (Kelingking, Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong) or the east (Diamond Beach, Atuh, Tree House), not both. Fast boats from Sanur take thirty to forty-five minutes, run from around 7:00, and are cancelled or delayed in a big swell. Bring cash: card machines are rare and the ATMs are unreliable.

Very fun activity!! We enjoyed both the seaturtles and temple in the cave. The guide and chauffeur were both really great
Our guide Ketut picked us up punctually at the agreed meeting point. This was a private tour, so Ketut had plenty of time to describe and explain everything in detail. We first visited the impressive cave temple, where we were also allowed to take part in the purification ritual. Afterwards, we went to the local market, where Ketut showed us different fruits, spices, clothing, and ceremonial items. We even got to try his favorite childhood sweet :) A particularly special moment was visiting the turtle conservation center. There, turtles are bred, raised, and later released into the sea. Injure
Turtle conversation was great, we just release two little turtles in the ocean ♥️ After that first stop we visit the temple, it was amazing! We are lucky & thankful for our guide Ketut, who drive us very safe through the bumpy streets 🤗 He react spontaniously at our belongings (Wish to drink a fresh coconut) 😊 Thank you for guiding us through the local market and giving us explantations about your culture, tradition and beautiful island 😊
We really enjoyed our tour especially our guide Dito who was great. The turtle conservation was clean, well run and not over crowded. There were a few steps to get to the cave temple but nothing too bad. Very interesting. We had lunch at mambo then spent some time at crystal bay. The only annoyance was the fast boat to nusa penida which was 40 minutes late. All in all, a seemless enjoyable day, and something a little different.
We had a wonderful time exploring the Turtle Conservation and Giri Putri. Afterwards we relaxed with a beautiful view at Crystal Bay. Our guide Lio told us many interesting things about Balinese culture and life. He is a very kind and open person and was happy to answer any questions we had.
Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Our guide, Ketut, was extremely knowledgeable and kind throughout the entire trip. The turtle sanctuary and temple were incredible. Ketut’s car was immaculate and came with many bottles of water, A/C and great music. Couldn’t recommend this enough was one of the best days possible
What a great tour. Ketut is a great guide, the turtles were gorgeous. Getting to release one and see it on it's journey into the big ocean was an amazing experience. Such a wonderful initiative to save the eggs from tourist beaches and make sure they get a real chance at life. The Cave Temple is amazing, it's huge and awe inspiring but not for people who get claustrophobic because the entrance is tiny! We stopped for lunch which is optional, very nice Beach Club restaurant. 100% recommend.
It was heaps of fun! Our guide Ketut took many amazing photos of us at the turtle conservation and was very knowledgeable at the cave temple. He also took us on a detour when we wanted to get lunch! 10/10 experience

Wir hatten einen tollen Tag mit unserem Guide Lio. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen um uns vor allem bei der Tempelbesichtigung viel zu erklären. Auch der Besuch der Schildköten-Auffangstation war sehr schön und informativ. Wir hatten einen tollen Tag, großen Dank auch an Lio!
