This is a 8-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Secret stop, View point and Traditional village. It is run by Bali Hai Cruises, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.
Pickup is offered from Tanah Lot, Ubud, Kuta Selatan, Denpasar City, Legian and Jimbaran; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Hai Cruises once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

When we arrived we were given the wrong wrist bands which meant we ended up doing a different cruise day. It was a choppy sea, people throwing up on the journey and the music (a DJ with two large speakers in the middle of a room with 6 tables was a little much before 9am) the groups were mostly families no young partying couples so the music did not match the attendees. That was the worst bits. We ended up on the ultimate boat tour, which didn’t include the mangrove tour or the seaweed farm. When the captain found out we were out on the wrong boat he could not have done enough for us, he got u
That wasn’t a sailing boat ! I wanted to sail … staff friendly. The lunch was good
It was supposed to be a small group tour. However, to get to the island, we had to spend two hours on board of a small ship with a bunch of other people. Not terrible, but the music was too loud, and half of the ship reeks because too many people smoke. Once we arrived to Nusa Lembongan, we had a personal guide, and we had 30 minutes to snorkel. Then, they took us for short tours of mangrove forest and seaweed farm. Lunch was decent. Overall an okay experience though I have to say staff was very nice. Our "tour director" was also wonderful.

Arrivati nell'isola abbiamo fatto snorkeling e un giro nella barca tradizionale tra le mangrovie. Dopo la visita alla farm delle alghe, abbiamo raggiunto il beach club dove abbiamo pranzato e poi ci siamo rilassati in spiaggia. Qui si può anche fare kayak e Sup o fare un'altra uscita snorkeling.
