Snorkeling Nusa Penida Expedition 4 Point (Nusa Penida)

This is a 10-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Speedboat, Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay. It is run by Penida Getway, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

Pickup is offered from Kuta, Kuta Selatan, Sanur and Seminyak; the exact spot and time are agreed with Penida Getway once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

Penida Getway sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Penida Getway before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
