Full description

This is a 5-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Speedboat, Manta Point and Gamat Bay. It is run by Lembongan Water Sport, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

Die Tour startete mit einem Begrüßungsgetränk am Mangrovenwaldstück und dann ging es zu den drei Schnorchelplätzen. Leider haben wir keine Mantas sehen können. Nach dem Mittagessen, welches sehr lecker war, startete die Lembongan-Tour in Mini-Bussen. Diese Tour kann man sich sparen, man fährt erst lange durch den Ortskern von Lembongan, wo am Tage nur leere Restaurants und Bars und viel Müll zu sehen ist. Die Aussichtspunkte (eine Bucht, ein Strand und ein Panoramablick) sind nichts besonderes. Der Schnorchelpart hat uns gut gefallen, der Rest war unnötig.

Ich hatte so einen tollen Tag mit Lembongan Water Sport bei dieser Tour. Die Abholung von Nusa Penida verlief reibungslos. Erst gab es nach Lembongan und dann nach ein bisschen warten los zum Schnorcheln. Es war durch die Wet Season etwas welligerauf dem Boot und wir konnte nur zum Manta Bay fahren, aber wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht. Wir haben drei Mantarochen gesehen und unsere Guides haben uns immer geholfen im Wasser oder auf dem Boot. Danach sind wir zu zwei weiteren Schnorchel-Spots gefahren, wo wir viele bunte Fischen und Schildkröten gesehen haben. Danach ga es ein ganz leckeres M

Brilliant! The staff were so accommodating, had great English & kept you fully informed of the days plan/where you should be when. Plenty of guides/staff snorkelling with you to keep tabs on everyone & make sure you’re all in the right area/not swimming off too far. Used WhatsApp prior to picking me up to make sure I knew exactly which boat to look out for & where it would be positioned. Food offering was very traditional - but more than enough variety & cooked fresh for you… even provided toast on arrival for those travelling from the mainland due to their early start.

Etkinlik genel olarak parasının karşılığını verdi, sadece son durakta rehberin diğer yolcuları toparlamasını bekledik. Yaklaşık 45 dakika sıcak araçta bekledikten sonra sahile inebilirsiniz dendi, fakat bu seferde süreniz doldu denilerek 5 dakika içinde geri çağırıldık. Organizasyon hatası yüzünden arabada terleyerek zaman harcamak yerine yüzmek isterdim.
