Full description
This is a 6-hour experience from Nusa Penida, built around Ferry, Mesari Beach Restaurant and Manta Bay. It is run by Lembongan Water Sport, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

Amazing trip. Saw manta rays, turtles. Mad experience. Only think I would bear in mind though is for manta point if you are not a strong swimmer make sure you wear a life jacket. This area is horrendously rough and choppy water and would not be for a beginner. However absolutely amazing trip
Amazing day! We saw manta rays, dolphins and sea turtles! Instructors were friendly and amazing pointing out the manta rays! Would definitely recommend and do again!
What a perfect day it was from efficient transport Pick Up to big smiles and wonderful staff. The highlights were being up close to the Mantarays. One was wider than my arms at width and I saw four. The Dive guide pointed them out to me as I swam it was one of the highlights of snorkelling in my life. I'm very grateful.
An unforgettable snorkeling experience! Swimming with manta rays, we saw them!! giant sea turtles, and massive starfish was breathtaking. Unfortunately, I had an accident (completely my own fault!). The team was incredible: they immediately took me to the hospital and stayed to ensure I was okay. Because I got hurt, they even arranged a dedicated guide so I could still do the mangrove kayaking. Their care went above and beyond!! Thank you again 🙏🏻 My only critique is the organization at the port—not the tour itself, but the port area in Sanur and island, where transportation logistics were poo

One of the best life experiences we’ve ever had experienced. We saw 5 manta rays and turtle and the guide is so caring make sure that we get time to spend snorkelling and exploring. This whole team is well organised.
We had a wonderful time, our driver picked us up from our villa and drove us to the port, we got on a boat to a beach then a short truck ride to green lagoon where we boarded another boat to see some Manta Rays unfortunately on this occasion we didn't get to see any, we had a wonderful time snorkelling so many fish to see and coral, then we got given a tasty lunch and afterwards kayaked through the mangroves. all in all wonderful day, good value for money i would highly recommend.
