Tembeling beach and forest, kelingking beach broken in Nusa Penida

This is a 2-hour experience in Nusa Penida. It is run by Go Penida, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Kelingking is the cliff on Nusa Penida's south-west coast shaped, from the viewpoint, like a T-rex, with a strip of sand at the bottom. The viewpoint takes five minutes from the car park; the beach takes an hour or more each way down a path of roughly 400 metres of vertical drop on rough steps with a bamboo rail, and the sea at the bottom has a strong shore break. Most people go to the viewpoint only. Broken Beach, Pasih Uug, is a collapsed sea cave that left a natural arch, and Angel's Billabong next to it is a tide pool that is safe at low tide and dangerous at high tide, when waves come over the lip. These three sit together on the west side and make a half-day.

It does not cover Lunch and drink, Ojek in tembeling beach and other expenses, so budget for those separately. Go Penida sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Go Penida before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
