This is a 10-hour experience in Nara, built around Bus/coach and Nara Park. It is run by イ一エストラベル株式会社, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Nara was Japan's first permanent capital, from 710 to 784, and its park holds Todai-ji, whose Great Buddha Hall is one of the largest wooden buildings in the world and contains a 15-metre bronze Buddha cast in 752, Kasuga Taisha with its three thousand lanterns, and about 1,200 sika deer that are considered messengers of the gods and are protected. The deer bow for the shika senbei crackers sold in the park and will butt anyone who teases them. Nara is 45 minutes from Kyoto or Osaka by train and is a half-day; Todai-ji before 10:00 is the quiet hour.

de tourguide Viva zorgde met de extra service dat iedereen met een. app bericht met linkjes naar de locaties kon lopen en waar de bus stond. Mooie extra service. het nadeel van de tour was wel de veel te lange tijd in Uji. Als je rustig en de tijd neemt voor een lunch. de winkelstraat 2 maal doorloopt en de tempel bezoekt dan ben je wel in 2 uur klaar. terwijl je 4 uur de tijd hebt. nu kan ik niet inschatten als je de onsen bezoekt hoe je dan met je tijd zit. alleen in onze tour was er volgens maar 1 persoon. wellicht moeten ze de tours splitsen.

Nara was a fun experience, but 4 hours in Uji was ridiculous long. Only a small temple to visit and lunch to eat, even walked the surroundings but we got bored after a few hours. We didn’t take the onsen because is was 24 degrees
