A 8-day trip out of Kathmandu taking in Arrival in Kathmandu, Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar, Dhap Bazaar to Jhaple and Jhaple to Pikey Base Camp. There are 7 stops in all.

The running order is Arrival in Kathmandu, then Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar, then Dhap Bazaar to Jhaple, then Jhaple to Pikey Base Camp, then Pikey Peak Summit to Junbesi, and on from there.

The price covers accommodation in local teahouses, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the trek from Dhap Bazzar, Transportation from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar and Phaplu to Kathmandu and Experienced English speaking Guide. It does not cover international flights, Lunch and Dinner in Kathmandu and Travel insurance, so budget for those separately.

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu, where your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, attend a short trek briefing and prepare for your Himalayan adventure.

Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar through scenic countryside, terraced hills, traditional villages, and winding mountain roads. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you enter the Himalayan region and spend the night in a local teahouse.

Dhap Bazaar to Jhaple

Begin trekking through peaceful rhododendron and pine forests toward Jhaple. Enjoy beautiful mountain scenery, traditional settlements, and glimpses of local life before reaching the charming village of Jhaple.

Jhaple to Pikey Base Camp

Trek gradually uphill through forests and open mountain landscapes toward Pikey Base Camp. As you gain altitude, enjoy increasingly impressive Himalayan views and prepare for the next morning’s summit adventure.

Pikey Peak Summit to Junbesi

Start early for the summit of Pikey Peak and enjoy spectacular sunrise views over the Himalayas, with Mount Everest and other major peaks visible in clear weather. After celebrating your summit, descend through scenic trails and traditional Sherpa landscapes to Junbesi.

Junbesi to Phaplu

Trek from Junbesi to Phaplu through forests, valleys, small settlements, and scenic countryside. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and local culture before reaching Phaplu for an overnight stay.

Phaplu to Kathmandu

Travel back to Kathmandu by scenic jeep, passing through rural villages, green hills, terraced farmland, and mountain roads. An optional flight from Phaplu to Kathmandu is available for travelers who prefer a faster journey, subject to weather and flight availability.

Departure from Kathmandu

Enjoy your final morning in Kathmandu with free time for sightseeing or shopping before your guide transfers you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your Pikey Peak trekking adventure.
