Tour Itinerary
The schedule below is a suggested plan and can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Travel from Kathmandu to scenic Pokhara
Travel by road from Kathmandu to Pokhara, enjoying changing landscapes along Nepal's winding highways. Pass through river valleys, green hills, villages and terraced farmland before reaching Pokhara, a scenic lakeside city surrounded by Himalayan peaks. After checking into your hotel, spend the remaining time relaxing or exploring the Lakeside area. Prepare your trekking gear and meet your trekking team for the adventure ahead. Meals: Breakfast. Accommodation: 3-star hotel.
Drive to Sikles and explore Gurung heritage
After breakfast, travel by road from Pokhara toward Sikles, a traditional Gurung settlement and the gateway to the remote Namun La Pass Trek. The journey takes you through rural hills, forests and mountain landscapes before reaching the village. Explore Sikles and experience its traditional houses, local culture and peaceful surroundings. This is the final major settlement before entering the remote trekking areas. Meals: Breakfast. Accommodation: Lodge/teahouse.
Begin trekking through forests toward Tasa Kharka
Begin the trekking section from Sikles & follow mountain trails toward Tasa Kharka. The route gradually leaves the village environment & enters quieter forested terrain. Walk through Himalayan vegetation, crossing streams and uneven mountain paths while gaining elevation. Along the way, enjoy views of surrounding hills and distant peaks. The changing landscape marks from traditional settlements to the remote of the Namun La region. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Tented camp.
Continue deeper into remote Himalayan wilderness
Continue trekking from Tasa Kharka toward Dharamsala through increasingly remote mountain terrain. The trail passes through forests, open hillsides & alpine surroundings as the altitude gradually increases. With fewer settlements along the route, the trek takes on a true wilderness character. Walk at a steady pace & allow your body to adjust to the changing elevation. Reach Dharamsala and settle into the supported camping environment. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Tented camp.
Trek upward to the alpine meadows of Kori
Leave Dharamsala and continue toward Kori, one of the scenic highlights of the trek. As the trail climbs higher, dense vegetation gives way to open alpine meadows & mountain terrain. The surroundings become increasingly dramatic, with broad Himalayan landscapes visible from the trail when weather permits. Reach Kori & enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this remote high-altitude meadow before spending the night surrounded by mountain. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Tented camp.
Reach the remote high-altitude Boksi Taal
Continue from Kori toward Boksi Taal, following remote trails through alpine terrain. The landscape becomes more rugged as you approach the high-altitude lake, with open slopes, rocky sections and dramatic mountain surroundings. Boksi Taal provides a spectacular natural setting and an important stage before the Namun La crossing. Take time to appreciate the remote environment and prepare for the demanding high-altitude section ahead. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Tented camp.
Cross Namun La Pass at about 4,800 meters
Begin challenging day of the trek with an early start from Boksi Taal. Ascend carefully through steep and rocky terrain toward Namun La Pass at approximately 4,800m. The high-altitude crossing requires steady pacing & suitable preparation. From the pass, take in Himalayan view when conditions are clear before beginning the descent. Continue downhill toward Thorche, where the team establishes camp after mountain-pass crossing. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Tented camp.
Descend toward Timang through mountain landscapes
After crossing Namun La Pass, continue descending from Thorche toward Timang. The trail gradually moves into lower mountain terrain, with changing vegetation & more settlements appearing along the route. Enjoy views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape as you follow the trail through the Manang region. The descent provides a welcome change after the high-altitude sections & allows you to gradually return to lower elevations. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Lodge/teahouse.
Travel from Timang to Besisahar gateway
Continue the journey from Timang toward Besisahar by road, following mountain valleys & settlements on the lower side of the Annapurna region. The landscape gradually changes as you descend, with greener hills, rivers & villages replacing the high alpine environment. Besisahar is an important gateway for trekking routes in the Annapurna region. Arrive, check into your accommodation & relax after completing the remote trekking section. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Lodge/hotel.
Return to Kathmandu through Nepal's scenic hills
After breakfast, begin the road journey from Besisahar back to Kathmandu. Travel through Nepal's scenic hill country, following river valleys and winding mountain roads through villages and terraced landscapes.
