Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (Max altitude: 2,840 m)
Choose the Kathmandu option for an early morning hotel pickup, private airport transfer, and 35-minute flight to Lukla (2,840 m). Alternatively, select the Lukla option to meet your guide directly at the airport. Together, descend along the Dudh Koshi river past traditional Sherpa hamlets to Phakding for the night. Flight: 35 min (if from KTM); Approximate Trek Distance: ~8 km (3–4 hrs); Gain/Loss: Net +1,260 m (+1,590 m flight / -330 m trail); Accommodation: Mountain Guest House at Phakding
Trek to Namche Bazaar (Max altitude: 3,438 m)
Following the turquoise Dudh Koshi river, you cross high suspension bridges—including the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge—and pass through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. The trail then ascends steadily through pine forests, offering your first view of Everest before arriving at Namche Bazaar. Round Trip to Hotel Everest View (Max altitude: 3,880 m)
Today you reach the main destination of your trek, climbing above Namche Bazaar toward the ridge above Syangboche airstrip. Reaching the legendary Hotel Everest View, you enjoy panoramic morning vistas of Mount Everest (8,848.86 m), Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. After relaxing over tea at the viewpoint, you descend back to Namche Bazaar for the evening. Trek back to Lukla (Min altitude: 2,610 m)
Retracing your steps, you make a long descent back down the trail to the Hillary Suspension Bridge. Passing through Monjo and Phakding along the river valley, you continue past pine groves and Sherpa villages to complete your final trek leg back up into Lukla town (2,840 m). Approximate Trek Distance: ~19 km (6–7 hrs); Gain/Loss: Net -598 m (+450 m / -1,048 m); Accommodation: Mountain Guest House at Lukla
Fly to Kathmandu / Trip Ends in Lukla (Min alt.: 1,350 m)
After breakfast, your guide sees you off at Lukla Airport. For guests with flight transfers booked through us, you board an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, where our driver meets you upon arrival to transfer you to your hotel or the international terminal. For self-booked travelers, your guided service concludes at Lukla Airport after check-in. Flight: 35 min (if to KTM); Approximate Trek Distance: 0 km; Gain/Loss: Net -1,490 m (flight descent)
