A 8-day trip out of Kathmandu taking in Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1420m) via Trisuli Bazaar (540m), Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2470m) 5-6 hrs, Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m) 5-6 hrs and Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa (3870m) 5-6 hrs. There are 7 stops in all.

The running order is Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1420m) via Trisuli Bazaar (540m), then Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2470m) 5-6 hrs, then Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m) 5-6 hrs, then Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa (3870m) 5-6 hrs, then Kyanjin Gompa - Tserkuri (5000m) - Kyanjin Gompa (6h), and on from there.
