Drive to Simrung & Trek to Sinuwa (Max altitude: 2,340 m)
Your trip begins with a hotel pickup in Kathmandu (for an airport transfer & 25-minute flight to Pokhara) or direct pickup in Pokhara. From Pokhara, a 2–3 hour drive brings you to the trailhead at Simrung. You then trek up past terraced hillside villages and Chhomrong, arriving at the peaceful ridge settlement of Sinuwa for the night. Drive: ~60 km (2–3 hrs)
Trek to Deurali (Max altitude: 3,230 m)
Leaving Sinuwa behind, you descend into dense bamboo and rhododendron forests along the rushing Modi Khola river. Passing small trailside settlements like Dobhan and Himalaya, the path ascends past dramatic rocky cliffs and cascading waterfalls, leading you into the alpine valley settlement of Deurali for an evening rest. Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (Max altitude: 4,130 m)
The trail climbs through the narrow valley gate into the sacred Annapurna Sanctuary, passing Machhapuchhre Base Camp along the way. Surrounded by giant snow-capped peaks, you cross alpine meadows before arriving at Annapurna Base Camp by afternoon to settle in among magnificent mountain views. Sunrise at ABC & Trek to Sinuwa (Min altitude: 2,340 m)
You wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna range before beginning your descent. Retracing your steps back through the gorge, you pass Deurali, Himalaya, and Dobhan, arriving back at Sinuwa by late afternoon for a comfortable evening in the valley. Approximate Trek Distance: ~19 km (7–8 hrs); Gain/Loss: -1,790 m; Accommodation: Mountain Guest House at Sinuwa
Trek to Simrung, Drive to PKR, Fly to KTM (Min alt: 830 m)
Trek downhill to Jhinu Hot Springs before continuing to Simrung. Your vehicle transfers you back to Pokhara (PKR) by 17:00 to drop off at your hotel or at Pokhara Airport for evening flights. For guests with flight transfers arranged through us, our team greets you upon arrival in Kathmandu (KTM) to transfer you to your hotel or the international terminal. Drive: ~60 km (2–3 hrs)
