A half-day trip out of Kandy taking in Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Asgiri Maha Vihara Pirivena, Bahirawakanda Temple and Kandy Herbal Point. The longest stop is Kandy Herbal Point, at about 1 hour. There are 7 stops in all.
The running order is Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (30 min), then Asgiri Maha Vihara Pirivena (15 min), then Bahirawakanda Temple (15 min), then Kandy Herbal Point (1h), then Peradeniya, and on from there.
