A 3-hour trip out of Kandy taking in Tuk tuk, Kandy, Tuk tuk and Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. There are 9 stops in all.
The running order is Tuk tuk (15 min), then Kandy (30 min), then Tuk tuk (10 min), then Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (20 min), then Kandy Lake (15 min), and on from there.
The price covers welcome drink (mango juice or king coconut water), Bottle of drinking water, Tasting of Sri Lankan and South Indian local foods and Visit to Kandy View Point. It does not cover luxury restaurant food and Entrance tickets, so budget for those separately. Reserved seats open 30 days ahead and sell out within hours from December to March. Unreserved 2nd/3rd class is sold on the day and always available — you will stand, which is where the open doorways and the famous photographs are. Sit on the right-hand side going south.
