Dies ist ein 1-stündiges Erlebnis in Kyoto. Wir halten Ihren Platz beim Anbieter, bevor wir Ihre Buchung als endgültig behandeln.
Kyoto war über tausend Jahre lang bis 1868 Japans Hauptstadt und hat 17 UNESCO-gelistete Stätten unter rund 2.000 Tempeln und Schreinen. Die großen drei sind Kinkaku-ji, der Goldene Pavillon, mit Goldblatt bedeckt und am besten im Morgenlicht; Kiyomizu-dera, die Holzbühne auf den östlichen Hügeln mit den Higashiyama-Gassen von Sannenzaka und Ninenzaka darunter; und die Tore von Fushimi Inari. Die Burg Nijo hat die Nachtigallenböden, die gegen Eindringlinge quietschen, und Ryoan-ji den Steingarten. Tempel öffnen gegen 8:00 oder 9:00 Uhr und schließen um 17:00 Uhr, und der Stadtbus ist langsam; ein Tag mit einem Fahrer oder Guide, der die Stopps gegen die Menschenmassen ordnet, macht den Unterschied zwischen vier Sehenswürdigkeiten und sieben.

Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable staff and clearly interested in teaching you about the history & technique. Very fun for my 18 yr old son & I. Our scarfs turned out beautiful. And I bought a few souvenirs for friends. Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed learning about Shibori techniques and the history of this art. Loved making a dyed piece of art. This took a short amount of time and if you have ever done tie-dye, its very similar. Nice relaxing activity also suitable for teenagers or older children. A little expensive but the money is going to fund the museum and its wonderful staff and family, and their continued work maintaining the art of Shibori.
A friend and I had been traveling in Japan for 21 days and we had taken some other dyeing classes but we really enjoyed the friendliness and organization of this class and museum!
We had an amazing time learning about shibori and we have a lovely souvenir to take home that we made. Very special.
Best thing to do if you want to escape the heat. Perfect if you like textiles and crafts. So many things to look at the museum. So good staff, I went alone and they helped me with taking photos. 5 of 5 stars!
A lot of fun. Quaint little niche. With the guide, it was easy enough to be achievable, and with impressive results. The museum and shop are charming.
Wonderful experience and to have a really great souvenir after to show my family was really nice. It was so easy to do as the instructions were very clear, the museum was great to walk around to see so many examples. Would recommend to anyone.
The Shibori was taught by the family who have been craftsmen for many generations. It was a fun and very informative experience. We were amazed at their more advanced techniques. The workshop took only an hour but the visit to the museum’s display of their craft took at least another hour. The owners were wonderful and helpful. We recommend for sure!!

The scarves we made were so beautiful! And it was not too difficult to make. The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. Seeing the museum was interesting while the scarves were drying. Definitely recommend this activity for people interested in fabric art and having a nice souvenir to bring home.
