Brought my family of 6 to this experience ranging from 11 to 72 years old and everyone enjoyed it!
It was a very special experience! If you love creating you will love this workshop! The guide was helpful and spoke in English as well.
really interesting! the session was supposed to be in japanese but the minute he saw that they were people who don't speak japanese, he started explaining also in english and that was very kind of him! Thank you again so much
Fantastic experiene of Japanese culture. Appreciated instructions also being done in English.
It’s a fun experience especially the tea ceremony part and the process of preparing matcha.
This was the best class I have taken!! I have taken 6 classes and this was the best glass and the least amount of money. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent! Engaging, fun, delicious, and educational. Would do again!
Very nice activity, we learned how to prepare japan sweets and macha. Very good support from the organizers and friendly contact. Our kids also enjoyed it.
Brilliant masterclass in making traditional sweets and learning about the tea customs. First we learnt how to make cherry blossoms and dandelion shaped sweets out of bean paste, it was really fun and informative.. Then we went to another room to learn about macha and how you should prepare it and drink it, we learned lots. We appreciated that we could book the day before, and it was very good value. You get to drink the tea and eat the sweets. Please note this activity is not a traditional tea ceremony, it’s a practical class,
host was very patient and had clear English and Japanese (most in the class with us were Japanese and she took time to translate to English for us). Tea ceremony was also very interesting and fun.
I was a bit hesitant thinking it was going to be a touristy thing, but turns out our sweets making class was my wife, myself, and about a dozen Japanese junior high students. So it ended up being one of the most authentic experiences we had! The sweets making isn't a super deep dive, but it was enjoyable, the instructor was super friendly, and we had a really great time!
It was very fun and educational! Great authentic class! We speak English and they were very accommodating to us!
