Osaka est la cuisine du Japon : la ville qui a inventé le takoyaki, l'okonomiyaki et le kushikatsu, et le canal aux enseignes de néon de Dotonbori est l'endroit où on les mange. Le château d'Osaka est une reconstruction en béton de 1931 de la forteresse de Hideyoshi avec un musée à l'intérieur et des douves et un parc qui valent une heure ; le marché Kuromon est le marché alimentaire ; Shinsekai est le quartier rétro sous la tour Tsutenkaku ; le Umeda Sky Building a l'observatoire en plein air. Osaka est la base pour des excursions d'une journée à Nara, Kobe, Himeji et Koyasan, tous à moins d'une heure et demie. If you’re looking to explore Osaka, but might feel intimidated about hitting all the popular spots in one day, I suggest you book with this guide. Hugo made our tour easy & was very flexible when it came to planning all the sites we wanted to see. We began with a stop at Osaka Castle, where Hugo explained the history and some important landmarks in the area. Hugo seemed very knowledgeable and made it an educational experience. We had a fantastic tour of Osaka with Antoine and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the city. At the start, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but Antoine immediately made us feel comfortable with his kindness, friendliness, and enthusiasm. As requested, Hugo showed us the less touristy parts of Osaka. He provided detailed explanations of all the places we visited, also placing them in their historical context. We regretted booking only three hours. I would like to point out that Hugo never once checked the time—quite the opposite. I highly recommend him.

Ami was an excellent, friendly and informative guide who was flexible and extremely helpful, providing other information about places to eat, shop and generally getting around Osaka as well as our tour around various parts of the city. We would both recommend her.
Hugo was excellent and we would recommend. He took our list of spots we wanted to visit and made sure we ticked them all off, with good amounts of time at each. He also showed us things we wouldn't have known about without him. He helped us pick some great food from the market and took pictures of us at each spot which was lovely to look back on. He was very easy to get on with too which made us feel comfortable immediately. Thanks Hugo!
Was great! Hugo was really knowledgeable and he took us to a really interesting places. He was very patient with us and was amazing with our son of 9 years old. Highly recommended!
Hugo met us in our hotel and we were off on a great experience. We did a of of walking and got some amazing tips and recommendations along the way. We opted for the 4 hour tour and the time seemed to pass instantly. Lots of walking. Great familiarization with the Subway and surrounding areas making us much more aware of our surroundings and what we have available to us during our next week here. Great experience all around; highly recommended.
