This is a 2.5-hour experience from Kyoto, built around Fushimi Inari Taisha, View point and Hidden gem. It is run by DeepExperience, Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of Inari, the deity of rice and business, and its thousand-plus vermilion torii gates, each donated by a company or family, run in tunnels up the 233-metre Mount Inari behind the main hall. The full loop to the summit is about four kilometres and two hours; most visitors turn back at the Yotsutsuji viewpoint halfway. It is open 24 hours and free, which makes it the one big Kyoto sight you can do at dawn or after dark, when the gates are empty and lit. By nine in the morning the lower tunnels are a slow queue. The fox statues carry keys to the rice granary in their mouths.

This early morning Fushimi Inari tour was excellent! No big crowds, nice and fresh air. Our guide Teppei was excellent and our children were so happy after Teppei guiding us during this tour. He was patient, let us take photos and took photos of us. Answered questions and told about the history of Fushimi Inari. The best tour we have taken!

Teppei is such a beautiful human being that just radiates light and kindness. we were lucky to have him just for the 2 of us, making this a private 5 star tour. learned a lot about deities and torii, and fended off adversity at the various shrines. Thank you Teppei from the bottom of my heart and my son's bottom too.

Our tour guide Teppei was amazing. He was communicative even months before the tour. he didn't rush us through anything. took photos of us as a group at different locations. very kind person. made sure we new the right transit to get to our next destination and even walked us to the right train station. 10/10 tour experience.

We had such a great tour with our guide Teppei. He is one of those unique people you rarely meet in life. Teppei provided a both knowledgeable and fun tour. He is kind, thoughtful and took his time to explain all the areas of the Fushimi Inari shrine and answer our questions. This was the highlight of our time in Kyoto.
