Full description
This is a 8-hour experience from Kyoto, built around Fushimi Inari Taisha, Train and Saga-Arashiyama Station. It is run by Japan Tour Adventure, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Kyoto was Japan's capital for over a thousand years until 1868 and has 17 UNESCO-listed sites among some 2,000 temples and shrines. The big three are Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, covered in gold leaf and best in morning light; Kiyomizu-dera, the wooden stage on the eastern hills with the Higashiyama lanes of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka below it; and Fushimi Inari's gates. Nijo Castle has the nightingale floors that squeak against intruders, and Ryoan-ji the rock garden. Temples open around 8:00 or 9:00 and close at 17:00, and the city bus is slow; a day with a driver or a guide who orders the stops against the crowds is the difference between four sights and seven.
The price covers English/Japanese Guide, Please, Tenryuji Temple Entrance Ticket, Monkey Park Entrance Ticket and Golden Temple Entrance Ticket. It does not cover Lunch, Food & Drinks and Shopping & Souvenirs, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Kitsunezo. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Japan Tour Adventure before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
Guide Alice was great, she put lot of efforts and guided us very nice all around major sightseeing points of Kyoto surroundings. Also was very flexible in our break wishes. Nice communication.
Agustin was outstanding. His knowledge and passion for Japan expanded beyond the usual site-seeing. And he takes fabulous pictures. You would have thought we were alone in the shots he took of us in crowded places. Not only did we see all the highlights in the most enjoyable way, but also a few “secret” places. It was an all day event, walking, subways, and buses across Kyoto without a hitch. We learned so much Japanese history, customs, and language and enjoyed every minute. He is a consumate professional with a great sense of humor. Kyoto is a marvelous place and Agustin made it come to life
Matheus was a lovely guide. He made our trip around Kyoto very enjoyable. He was very warm and welcoming from the start
The tour was well planned and well executed. Christophe our guide was both informative and enthused. He has a great personality is easy to get along with and is clearly excellent at his job . A great day all round

The tour was amazing . Matteus was wonderful !
