Full description
This is a 65-minute experience in Kyoto. It is run by B.B.Advisors Inc. AN KYOTO, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Kyoto was Japan's capital for over a thousand years until 1868 and has 17 UNESCO-listed sites among some 2,000 temples and shrines. The big three are Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, covered in gold leaf and best in morning light; Kiyomizu-dera, the wooden stage on the eastern hills with the Higashiyama lanes of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka below it; and Fushimi Inari's gates. Nijo Castle has the nightingale floors that squeak against intruders, and Ryoan-ji the rock garden. Temples open around 8:00 or 9:00 and close at 17:00, and the city bus is slow; a day with a driver or a guide who orders the stops against the crowds is the difference between four sights and seven.
The price covers A set for making Nerikiri. It does not cover Sweets take-out box: 100 JPY, Experience completion certificate: 300 JPY and Tatedashi Matcha: 500 JPY, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
B.B.Advisors Inc. AN KYOTO sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with B.B.Advisors Inc. AN KYOTO before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Easy to do. Beautifully presented. A relaxing way to immerse yourself in Japanese cuisine
Making the Nerikiri was a fun activity and I believe it's accessible to people of most ages and skill levels :). The best part is that you get to eat what you make!! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a short workshop to do in Kyoto :).
learned about the ingredients, watched them do each step, then we made it ourselves, the class was mixed Japanese/tourists but they spoke English and we could understand everything that we needed to do.
This was a great experience. I have a new appreciation for the artistry of the people who create the ones see in the stores.
Such an interesting experience. Arty, crafty, peaceful. I did the activity at 10.30am on 1st of January, so I can confirm that I had wonderful strat of the year. Thank you to everyone behind the team.
Amazing so worth the money
Sehr coole Lektion für Nerikiri machen. Super geduldige Guide. Vielen Dank, arigato gozaimasu!
