We had a great day with Sam our driver who gave us some great information about Kyoto. We fitted in lots of places and he tailor made the trip for some places we wanted see. The car was so comfortable with the aircon during the day. He also made sure we got the best photos at each stop.

Amazing, Sam had personally tried his best to make sure we had a great time in Kyoto. He helped my son see all the places he wanted to take pictures of within the small time frame we had for staying in Kyoto. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Kyoto and the places we visited. It was so interesting to listen to the history while we drove to new locations, really making the most out of our time so no moment of the trip was boring! He was also very accommodating of everyone.

Sam was fantastic. We were able to see every major attraction, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. It was definitely the best way to see and learn about Kyoto in a short amount of time. I can’t imagine trying to navigate and experience it all on our own. Highly recommend!

Sam went above and beyond giving us an excellent tour of Kyoto, and on a separate tour, of Uji and Nara. His passion for his work and extensive knowledge really shows. He provided excellent service, and was very accommodating. We did not feel rushed at all during our tours and we felt very well-cared for. He recommended excellent meal stops as well, being our very much needed language translator in between. Overall, our Kyoto tour showed us amazing sites and delicious food, and Sam guiding us through it made it truly memorable. Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu!

Sam was an excellent tour guide, very engaging and informative, without being ‘pushy’, being keen to be led by what the members of the party were keen to do, or know about. His factual knowledge of Japanese feudal and more recent history was impressive. We have 3 kids and he interacted with them so well. He took some top notch photos at the iconic locations. All in all, our family highly recommend Sam for any tourists who want a perfect tour guide for Kyoto
