our guide Naoya was super informative and knew the answer to every question! we had lots of fun and learned a lot.
I really enjoyed the tour with Uta! It was so much more than just eating food. I learned how each dish connects to Japanese culture. She helped me try many local foods that I never would have discovered on my own. This tour made me love Japan even more. Highly recommended!
It was an amazing tour. Without a guide, we wouldn’t have learned about the history of the market or known which shops were worth visiting. Exploring the market with our guide, Uta, made the whole experience truly memorable.
I loved this tour! Nishiki Market really is "Kyoto's Kitchen," with so many interesting shops along the way. Trying the yuba and dashimaki was the best part for me. The guide was wonderful and told us so much about both the food and the history of the street. If you visit Kyoto, you should definitely take this tour!
It was such a fun tour! The guide has a great story telling and was engaging throughout the tour! I learned a lot about the history and culture of Japan and Kyoto 🤩 I recommend 1000% this tour! You will get an experience, stories and local tips you will never get if you travel on yourself!
We really enjoyed the walking tour in Kyoto. Our guide was very friendly and had great knowledge of the area. He gave us a very authentic tour of the place showing us some areas tourists might not always find. He was very interested in getting to know everyone on the tour and gave us some great places to check out in Kyoto. Would definitely recommend if you’re interested in getting know the area a bit better
I joined tour at Nishiki market which is very famous for good market in Kyoto. However I had no idea to what should I have or what is local food so, my guide leads me and introduces the food properly. It was very fun and I learned some Kyoto history as well. It was plenty time of time range of the tour so, I definitely can recommend this tour for everybody. Cheers
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Kyoto! Nishiki Market was exciting, and I loved learning about the local food culture and traditions. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour!
This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto! It was so much more than simply walking through Nishiki Market. Our local guide shared the fascinating history behind the shops, explained Kyoto's food culture, and introduced us to some wonderful local favourites that we would never have found on our own. What made the tour even more special was exploring the hidden backstreets and charming little alleys that most visitors would never discover. It felt like we were seeing the real Kyoto beyond the tourist spots, and every corner brought something new and exciting. If you're looking for
