This is a 5.5-hour experience in Osaka. It is run by InKansai Ltd, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

Matt was our tour guide. Clearly has a passion for Osaka and history. Excellent tour. Japanese curry Lunch was delicious. Easily tour from cycling standpoint. Can recommend to pretty much anyone in decent shape. Our 70 year old bodies were up to the task!

Het was heerlijk om met de wind in je haren Osaka te ontdekken. De mooie bezienswaardigheden en de kleine straatjes waren op de fiets snel te bereiken. Een e-bike (tegen geringe meerkosten) is geen overbodige luxe. De curry lunch was een heerlijke pitchstop.
