Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

It does not cover Optional upgrades available on-site for an additional fee and Hotel pickup and drop-off, so budget for those separately. We had a great time participating in this chopstick making class. The instructions were easy to follow and I liked how we had the option to choose our own wood and choose engravings to make things more personalised. Our instructor was very nice and good to chat to while the whole process was happening.
I loved the atmosphere Lala and others were so lovely and helpful made it fun π
Excellent English speaking staff, super friendly and very knowledgeable. An affordable experience that was a lot of fun and you leave with a great and useable souvenir! Would absolutely recommend coming here and giving it a go for yourself.
This chopsticks class was such a fun activity. The Japanese local host was enthusiastic and made the class interesting. He took care in explaining the different types of wood materials and process as well as translating my writing into Japanese on my chopsticks. I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend it :)
A lot of fun! Wonderful staff, they were very friendly and patient with my son who took a little longer and was asking a lot of questions. Highly recommend.
Had a great time, guide was fun and asked us lots of questions, service was top tier
Such a fun experience! They even write your name on the chopsticks in Japanese if you want and they put it in a bag with the wood shavings. Very good value for the money!
Great experience and got to make our very own souvenirs! Shota was very helpful in guiding us through the process especially helping us to write in Japanese on our chopsticks!! Good value for money and has the option to upgrade your wood type for extra as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun experience in Osaka!
