Full description

This is a 5-hour experience from Osaka, built around Danjiri Museum, Local restaurant and Iga-ryu Ninja Museum. It is run by Nara Guide, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

The price covers Guide and guide fee and Entrance fees. It does not cover Transport costs, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Nara Guide sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Nara Guide before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

This was such an amazing trip! I would do this again. Mouloud was very knowledgeable and we truly just had good conversations. He had a very warm demeanor, and took us to some amazing places. I left here feeling like I had not only done an awesome tour but that I had made a friend and I love that so very much!
