Full description
This is a 2-hour experience from Osaka, built around Kuromon Ichiba Market. It is run by GOKU TRIP, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

Goku war ein super Guide. Wir konnten viele neue Spezialitäten kosten und haben nebenbei einiges Neues erfahren.
We had a wonderful tour and experience. Our guide, Yuna, was knowledgeable and personable, showing us her favorite Kuroman spots that truthfully we would probably not have stumbled upon by ourselves. We expect to be back in a few months with some family members and we will recommend that they take the tour.

Me parece un precio muy elevado para ara lo que hemos visto, podíamos haber paseado solos por el mercado. Nuestra guía era amable pero sabía muy poco español. Hemos terminado antes de la hora porque no había nada que hacer.
Ha sido una experiencia muy buena. Matias, nuestro guía nos llevó a sitios muy auténticos dentro del mercado de Kuromon y tuvimos oportunidad de probar muchos platos típicos con explicaciones e historias muy interesantes.

Our tour guide Goku was excellent. He checked what interested us and then accordingly showed us a great time with lots of information. The food was delicious and we were shown genuine Japanese stalls.
My wife and I spent 2 hours with an excellent local guide Yuna, ( who has lived in Osaka for many years). She has great local knowledge and knows many of the traders personally. The tour was flexed for our individual likes/ dislikes/ interests and we learnt so much. Thank you !
