Full description
This is a 2.5-hour experience in Osaka. It is run by Japanticket Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.
The price covers Material cost, Shopping street guide fee, cooking lesson fee, Venue fee and Souvenir fee. It does not cover Personal expenses while walking around the shopping district and Transportation expenses to the meeting point, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Japanticket Inc. sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Japanticket Inc. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
Max our cooking instructor was awesome. He made it extremely fun, engaging and educational. We booked this for my partners birthday and when he found out he snuck off to even get her a slice of birthday cake - 10/10 recommend!
Sho did a great job of engaging our kids and accommodating our dietary restrictions! We had a great time! Thankyou
Shohei was an excellent chef. He explained and showed us the steps very well. We made ramen and gyoza, both turned out excellent. The whole family (family of 5) could actively participate in the process. Everybody enjoyed this activity, I really recommend it if you have some time in Osaka.
god mat. förbättras. vägbeskrivningen. utföra allt som lovats. laga mer mat själv.
Really great experience, so glad we booked it!
