This is a 3.5-hour experience from Osaka, built around Namba, Shinsaibashi and American Village. It is run by Cornwall Ltd, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

Take was an amazing guide! I found out close to the appointment time that the other guests had cancelled because of the rain, so I was a little hesitant about doing the tour alone. But Takeh was so engaging and friendly, he honestly felt like a long-lost Japanese friend. We had an exclusive tour, and I never felt bored or awkward. After the tour, we got to know each other more and he even treated me. What I thought might be a weird and awkward night turned into one of the best experiences I’ve had in Japan. Tour was fun. Our group was unusually small (just 3 people) so a bit more intimate that previous pub crawls I’ve been on but our guide did such a good time of sparking conversation, making us comfortable and most importantly, introducing us to osakas nightlife.
I had so much fun on this tour. Our tour guide Chika was so lovely and gave us different recommendations for drinks.

Was had a cracking time on this tour. Our guide Moe was incredibly helpful and spoke perfect English. All the bars were places we would never have gone otherwise. Loved the local vibes. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Take was just AMAZING ! He guided us through the busy streets in Osaka, showing us nice places, eating delicious food and trying good drinks. It was my first day in Osaka so it was ideal to get my bearings and become more familiar with the city.
