This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide, Yoshi-san, was both knowledgeable and friendly. His passion for Japanese history and culture was evident throughout the tour, and we were as invested in learning as he was in sharing. The hike itself is not difficult, and in fact rather scenic. Be sure to go on a weekday as the absence of crowds really adds to the experience, and if you can, try visiting in either spring or autumn.
