Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

we liked the saki tasting and the museum

The Guide had no experiance at all regarding sake. Was her first time in the brewery we had the tour in. She was not able to explain us anything regarding the brewing process or different sake types and quality. There was not a real tasting at all. We just went into the Restaurant located in the brewery and ordered a set of 4 sake, which she didnt want to pay in the beginning. We then convinced her, that its part of the tour.. Bad experiance in total!
