This is a 1.5-hour experience in Osaka, built around Osaka Museum of History, Osaka Castle and Osaka Castle Museum. Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

Teppei was our guide, he was extremely polite and informative! He gave us a thorough tour of the museum of history as well as Osaka castle. He even stayed with us well beyond the allotted time to ensure that we got to experience every part of the tour to the fullest extent. Absolutely worth it, you will not regret this tour!

We enjoyed the walk very much! Suzu took very good care of us. For my blind husband, she managed to get us on the top floor of Osaka Castle without many stairs. we very much appreciated the effort! What she told us about the history of Osaka and Osaka Castle was very informative. At the end of the walk, she accompanied us to our next sightseeing spot, even outside of the booked 3 hours. We can only highly recommend this walk and Suzu as a tour guide!
