The tour was very interesting and well documented with visual aids. Our live guide, Ryoko, was very nice and taught us many things about the history of Japan.

Junto was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. I highly recommend him for your guide. He took lots of photos for me. I loved learning more about the Shogun period. Also, he was very personable and helped me with getting a taxi back to the hotel. Even though it was raining, I had a great time!

This tour was much more interesting than we expected. Ryoko didn’t just explain Osaka Castle, but also Japanese history and how castles were designed for defense. Walking through the park, gates, and yagura made everything feel very real. The stories about three famous samurai really brought the history to life. Perfect pace for a family and very engaging.

We joined this private walking tour as a family and it was a great way to explore Osaka Castle Park without entering the main tower. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history of the gates, turrets, stone walls, and the castle layout in a very clear way. Visiting Hokoku Shrine added a deeper cultural perspective. We also loved learning about three famous samurai — fascinating for both adults and kids.

I learned so much about the three samurai during this tour. Hearing about the place where Hideyori committed seppuku and learning about the samurai values of honor and dignity at that time was truly surprising and fascinating. Ryoko explained everything very carefully and clearly, which made the history easy to understand and deeply meaningful. She also took many photos for us during the tour, and the pictures taken in the Japanese garden were especially beautiful. At the end, she even printed the photos and gave them to us as a gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the experience unforgettable.
