Tommy was simply outstanding! This tour was a surprise package and absolutely made our trip to Osaka. We not only discovered amazing local delights and hidden gems that we’d never have been able to find ourselves, but Tommy’s local knowledge, humour, energy and warmth made the night an unforgettable one. An Aussie who speaks perfect Japanese and has lived in Osaka for almost a decade was the perfect combo for a tour guide. I could not reccommend Namba Food Tours more highly. Tommy is a great, enthusiastic guide. We went to one or two places we would have dismissed as 'a little too back street' but had great food. He was very informative about Japanese culture and Osaka's slightly counter culture. Money well spent.

Absolutely loved this food tour around Namba. From the moment we met Tommy, our guide, the energy was on point, funny, engaging, and full of insider knowledge you’d never get on your own. It honestly felt like being shown around by a local friend who knows all the best hidden spots. We wondered through buzzing streets and alleys, stopping at places we would have walked straight past. The food was delicious with a mix of iconic Osaka dishes and local favourites. The cold beers, a bit of sake, and plenty of laughs along the way made the food tour so enjoyable. What really stood out was how much we learned, not just about the food, but the culture, the etiquette, and the true vibe of Osaka. Such a fun, relaxed, and delicious way to experience this beautiful part of Osaka. Highly recommend if you want great food, great vibes, and a genuinely memorable night.
