Full description
This is a 3.5-hour experience from Osaka, built around Dotonbori, Local restaurant and Hōzenji Temple. It is run by Maroventure, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

Fabulous! Kei was a lovely informative local guy. He took us to local restaurants and bars that only a local would know about. First we went to a great restaurant with local food tasting then on to a sake tasting and finally on to a locals karaoke bar. We had the best night and it’s a must when visiting Osaka for if you want to feel the local vibe. We’d highly recommend the tour, and Kei, thank you for the great memories, we’ll remember it always ❤️
It was amazing NIGHT. We had such a great time with Saki, our guide. She was so kind, food was delicious! We enjoyed the Osaka's food culture. She took us hidden restaurants and bars where we could never found our own. Japanese Sake tasting flight was also amazing.
Ryoko was great guide and bars and food were really nice and authentic. Ending the nightwear in a karaoke. 100% would recommend.

Ryoko was awsome! Restaurants we went to were authentic and delicious. She introduced us to a lot of new food and drinks that we havn't tried yet. She also took us to a neighborhood japanese sake bar run by a cool man. He provided us the perfect one as his recommendation. Overall, it was an awsome experience and we recommend her!

This was an absolute dream of an experience! Special thanks to our tour guide, Saki, who made it amazing.
This bar hopping tour was the perfect way to experience Osaka at night. Ryoko was young, friendly, and full of local knowledge, taking us to great spots we never would have found on our own. Trying local food while learning the “no double-dipping” rule was fun, and the sake tasting introduced us to completely different flavors. The night ended at a lively karaoke bar where locals sang English songs with us. Ryoko even took lots of photos and surprised us with a printed photo souvenir — such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!
