This was one of the better experiences we had in Japan. Everyone was so polite, the food was amazing, and we felt so absorbed in the experience.
We enjoyed everything! The dinner, the video presentations, and most especially the live show. It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun! A must try when visiting Osaka❤️

I thought this was such a fun and cute intro to sumo. I think the cast/workers made the whole experience enjoyable and engaging for both adults and children. The wrestlers were so funny and adorable! The food was pretty good, too. The staff was very helpful and efficient when it came to seating everyone, ordering, and giving us the layout of the venue. Definitely plan on going again with friends in the future. :)
We had a brilliant time, the staff and Sumos were brilliant, really recommend the VIP seats too. It was really informative about the traditions, training and the Sumos themselves. There was traditional food served, and they showed you how to cook it as you had little stoves on the table, there was plenty to eat and you could order more. It was our grandson’s birthday and they also did a happy birthday video for him which was lovely, so thank you for that, he loved it. Just one small thing not about the venue but GYG, it’s advertised as Osaka, it was 45 minutes by train depending on which train you could get and nearly an hour by cab from the centre of Osaka itself, we were staying in Kobe, so a long journey, which was another 45 mins on top, but well worth making the effort to go.

This was a great activity! Very educational while being entertaining. We did the front row Sukiyaki option and the food was delicious and the service was wonderful! Will definitely be recommending this to friends who are headed to Osaka.
