Full description

This is a 6-hour experience in Osaka. It is run by Osaka Photoshoot & Vlog Experience, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

The price covers 5 edited photos, 50+ unedited photos, Optional cinematic video, photographer and English-friendly communication. It does not cover Entrance fees, Transportation costs, Food and drinks and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

This was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. Shoki provided a very relaxed and authentic experience that felt completely different from a traditional tour. We explored Osaka, had great conversations, shared perspectives about our cultures, and enjoyed the day at our own pace. What impressed me most was his genuine kindness, flexibility, and ability to create a comfortable atmosphere. The experience felt natural and personal rather than scripted or rushed. I would also like to thank him for his food recommendation—the karaage he suggested was one of the best Japanese dishes I ha

This experience is a must-do if you’re visiting Osaka, especially if it’s your first time like it was for us. Shoki captured our family’s first adventure in Osaka and truly went above and beyond our expectations. He was very professional, spoke excellent English, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the day. Although he was hired for photography and videography, he also became our unofficial tour guide, recommending great places to visit and helping us make the most of our time in Osaka. This package is an incredible value. We spent nearly 6 hours with him and received the raw and edi

Shoki was absolutely brilliant. He spent six hours with us, showed us some really interesting places in Osaka, and took lots of great photos and videos. We had a great time, and I can confidently say it was the best part of my trip to Japan. Whatever your preferences, I think this offer is worth buying without hesitation.

I had a truly great experience. Shoki is a very professional and passionate guy—you can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and he absolutely deserves success in his work. We spent about six hours together, and it was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish—creating content, taking photos, and experiencing authentic moments of the city. He made me feel completely at ease, and everything felt natural and effortless. I can’t wait to receive the final content! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to enjoy Osaka in a unique way and take home high-quality memories.

Yes — Nara is about 30-45 minutes by Kintetsu train for the deer park and Todai-ji, and Kyoto is roughly 29 minutes by JR Special Rapid. Both are easy half-day or full-day trips. See our Osaka to Nara guide and Osaka to Kyoto guide.
Takoyaki (octopus balls) and okonomiyaki (savory pancake) are Osaka's signature street foods, best sampled around Dotonbori and Kuromon Market. See our Osaka food guide.
Yes — it's the city's neon-lit entertainment and food district, and while it's undeniably touristy, the energy, canal-side glow, and street food density make it genuinely worth an evening. See the Dotonbori guide.
Shinsekai is Osaka's retro, slightly gritty downtown district built around the Tsutenkaku Tower, known for kushikatsu (fried skewers). It's generally safe for tourists, especially in the daytime and early evening. See the Shinsekai guide.
