Full description
This is a 9-hour experience from Osaka, built around Kishi Station. It is run by Follow Me, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Osaka is Japan's kitchen: the city that invented takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, and Dotonbori's canal of neon signs is where it eats them. Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.
The price covers Tour guide, Air-conditioned vehicle, Free Wi-Fi onboard, Bottled water and One-way ticket for the Cat Train. It does not cover Meals, Personal expenses and Tips, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Follow Me sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Follow Me before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
We had a fantastic tour with Candy! The weather was beautiful, and there were not too many tourists around. Before visiting the soy sauce factory, we stopped at the famous 1,000 Tatami Mats coast. The sea was wonderfully rough that day, and watching the waves was spectacular. As a soy sauce lover, visiting the birthplace of Japanese soy sauce was a must. Learning about its history and production was fascinating, and we happily stocked up on many delicious sauces afterwards. Another highlight was the fish market. So much variety, so many things to taste and discover – wow! Candy was an amazing
Thanks to Candy for this wonderful tour, which offered so much to discover: cliffs along the sunny Pacific, tuna at its finest, Japan’s original soy sauce, and a train that loves to purr like a cat. Thanks, Candy! 🙏
